Providing the Right Tools to “Light that Spark Within”™
POLK CITY, FL (July 1, 2013) – Fantasy of Flight is proud to once again be a partner of the Kiwanis Club of Winter Haven’s “Stuff the Bus” project. The “Stuff the Bus” program is a school-supply drive in which all supplies will be used by Polk County Public Schools.
Fantasy of Flight will serve as a collection location from July 1, 2013 through September 30, 2013. Any visitor who donates items from the approved list of school supplies (shown below) will receive $5 off the full-priced adult attraction admission. The admission discount will only apply for the items listed and the donated school supplies must be presented at the attraction’s admission counter to qualify for the discount.
Kermit Weeks, creator and founder of Fantasy of Flight, stated, “In our aircraft restoration workshops, our craftsmen must have the right equipment in order to breathe new life into the vintage aircraft and return them to flight. In our school systems, it is imperative that our educators have the right tools to not only teach our children, but to do so while sparking creativity and innovation.”
Fantasy of Flight is located just off Interstate 4 (exit 44) between Tampa and Orlando at 1400 Broadway Blvd. SE. Polk City, FL 33868. During this drive, seasonal hours are 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. Thursday through Sunday. This special offer cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts, annual passes, special events or Wing WalkAir.
